Jarret and Nick are back after a long Thanksgiving break to talk about all the latest in gaming news. First, Nick talks about how his kid is now losing games and saves. Jarret, meanwhile, is playing Watchdogs: Legion and feels that Ubisoft games go on for too long.

In the news, Sony is banning PS5 Users for selling access to their console to PS4 users. The PS4 Users log in to the PS5 and gain access to the free PS+ games on their account on the older console. Also, Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan was asked about if Sony would create a rival to Xbox Gamepass. His only response was “there is actually news to come.” Additionally, in Taiwan, a man tried to convince his wife that the PS5 is an air filter. She saw through the ruse and sold the console for less than market value.

In Microsoft news, the company acquired esports competitor smash.gg. Phil Spencer also gave an interview with the Verge that lead to several news articles of his quotes. He tried to explain the model they use for acquiring new games for Game Pass, emphasizing overall that it is on a per-customer basis, instead of blanket policies. Also, Spencer mentioned that they are planning to develop an app that would allow you to play Xbox Gam Pass as part of your tv. This can only be a boon for Microsoft.

Also, the Last of Us was picked up for a full season by HBO. And Bioware vets Casey Hudson and Mark Darrah have left the company but EA assures that the ongoing game development will not be affected. Finally, the pair discuss Travis Scott’s recent Fortnite concert, and judge the future of concert performances.

Nick Zielenkievicz

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.
