Its a little later than usual but Nick, Rei, Eric, and Harv are here to talk about the World of Warcraft post-Blizzcon. First, Rei talks about how raiding has been going with the puggers they’ve picked up, and Eric is statisfied with where his gear has his tanking ability standing. Harv enjoys the mythic + dungeons lately, and Nick finished his Mag’har Orc scenario.

The gang talks about Activision’s recent stock drops. Nick points out that there’s not much to look forward to for most of Blizzard’s properties, and so there’s no reason to expect the stock drop to turn around. He also mentioned that WoW is in about as good a place as it can be with all the coming content, and that should help going forward. Activision-Blizzard also lost 7 million Monthly Active Users, and it will be interesting to see how they are able to get them back.

Blizzard announced some changes to the Zandalari and Kul Tiran Allied Races. Zandalari can no longer be warlocks, and Kul Tirans can now be mages. Jaina being a Kul Tiran mage seemed to inspire this transition.

It took a while but the Alliance Hall of Fame is now full and Mythic raiders can now form cross-realm groups for Uldir.

The WoW forums are being updated but Nick can’t find his information for this.

Finally, the gang looks back at episode #19. They compare Highmaul LFR with Uldir LFR, and everyone still does not like the Highmaul raid. Nick fondly remembers Aviana’s feather, and concludes that Demon Hunters are the reason why it can’t be brought back. The WoW Token was first mentioned at that time, and Nick looks back on how its been used by the Blizzard fondly, although he wishes he could afford more of them. They also talked about patch 6.1 hitting the PTR, which would be the infamous twitter/selfie cam patch. They looked back at how Ashran never caught on, and Eric and Harv agree that Wintergrasp was the pinnacle of WoW PVP zones.

Hosts

Nick Zielenkievicz

Host of WoW! Talk! and The Tauren & The Goblin. Sometimes known as the Video Games Public Defender. Wants to play more Destiny and Marvel Heroes but WoW is all-consuming. Decent F2P Hearthstone player. Sad that he lost the Wii that had Wrecking Crew on it. Would be happy if the only game ever made was M.U.L.E. Gragtharr on Skywall-US. Garresque on Ravencrest-US.

Rei Liou

Rei is the 1 of the 5 SEELE members and the Ops Director at MTB. She enjoys anime, baking, cooking, gaming ( fighting, puzzle, rhythm, RPGs ), and spending WAY too much time working on spreadsheets. Current Games: Tales of Crestoria, WoW

Eric Knutson

Auto mechanic, car enthusiast, gamer, runner and almost never serious, Eric has been ditching responsibilities and gaming since age 7. His favorite genres are FPS and racing, although most of his game time is currently spent on WoW

Christopher Greer

Chris has been playing World of Warcraft since 2007. When he's not playing his hunter in Azeroth, he's probably playing one of his many alt hunters. If not doing that, he's probably playing a different hunter.
